We visited here in a bit of a rush on the way to Burton-upon-Trent to see friends, and found that they more than live up to their friendly reputation. Its rather like a Midlands version of Embsay in that they have a short track with industrial tank engines, but with big ambitions which I'm sure that they'll eventually achieve - they certainly deserve to. We showed our appreciation by spending a lot in the bookshop (more O.S. Nock, anyone?) and having a very good lunch in the station. If you are ever passing, I recommend a visit.
